AID PROJECTS ASIA
The APA Foundation was founded in 1999 by Elly Godrie-Schuitevoerder, Casey Godrie, and Mans Schuitevoerder to provide assistance to people with disabilities from the poorest segment of the population in developing countries in Asia.
Until 2025, the focus was on providing therapy and training in daily activities, and supplying aids or provisions, such as a prosthesis to enable (better) mobility. From 2025 onwards, we are primarily focused on finding meaningful and fulfilling ways for young people with a disability to spend their time, such as education and employment. We also continue to provide aids and carry out home adaptations.
The APA Foundation works through volunteers and permanent staff , none of whom is paid for this work. We issue reports and pictures to keep you up to date with developments.
